CreateMyHeroBook generates personalized illustrated children's books from photos and information you provide about a child ("the Hero"). You upload photos, choose a story template, and we render a customized hardcover book that is printed and shipped to you.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and place an order. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for any activity under your account.

You confirm that you have the right to upload any photos you submit and that you have the consent of any guardian or parent of the children pictured. We use those photos only to generate your book; we don't sell, license, or use them to train models for other customers.

You retain ownership of your photos, names, and any text you provide. By uploading them, you grant us a limited, royalty-free license to process, transform, store, and reproduce them solely to deliver the book you ordered, send you order updates, and maintain order history.

The illustrated pages, character likenesses, and cover designs we create for you are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use — you can share them, print them again at home, or gift them. You may not resell or redistribute them at scale.

Prices are shown in US dollars at checkout and include the cost of printing and shipping. Payment is processed by Stripe; we don't store your card details. Once your order is placed, we begin generating and printing your book — see the refund policy below before ordering.

Books are made-to-order. Production typically takes 5–10 business days, with shipping on top depending on your address. We will email you tracking information once the book ships.

Because every book is custom-printed for you, we generally don't accept returns. We will replace or refund any book that arrives damaged, defective, or with a printing error attributable to us — email us at hello@createmyherobook.com within 14 days of delivery and we'll make it right.

Illustrations are generated by AI models guided by the photos and inputs you provide. We do our best to render a faithful and charming character, but AI output can vary — small details may not exactly match every photo. The cover-preview step lets you see and approve your hero before paying. You can regenerate the cover up to three times before checkout if you'd like a different option.

You agree not to:

• Upload photos of anyone without their (or their parent's) permission.
• Upload obscene, illegal, or rights-infringing content.
• Use the Service to harass anyone or generate content depicting minors in inappropriate contexts.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section without refund.

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the site. Your continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
